FAQ

Our services aren’t usually covered by insurance, and even if they are, insurers tend to limit the quality and flexibility of the care we aim to provide. To support accessible wellness, we’ve created a program to keep your care straightforward and affordable. If your insurance offers any reimbursement, we can provide a superbill or invoice for you to submit directly to your insurance provider.

The new patient visit is $300 and includes an in-depth review of your health history, current symptoms, and any previous lab work. This appointment’s goal is to gain a full understanding of your needs so we can recommend a tailored wellness approach. Costs beyond the initial visit will vary depending on your specific plan.

The new patient visit focuses on laying the groundwork for your wellness plan, so typically, we don’t provide additional services at this first meeting. Expect to be with us for at least one hour, especially if we proceed with any lab testing. Exceptions include:

  • The acupuncture new patient evaluation includes an acupuncture session.
  • For children and adults with acute conditions, Dr. Nikzad may include initial care, or we may offer a discounted new patient rate plus the cost of a service.

Our clinic offers an integrative approach: patients receive both NAET and acupuncture from two experienced providers in each visit. The cost is $175 per session, with discounted packages and programs available. NAET alone, often preferred for children, is $125, while acupuncture on its own is $135. When combined, these sessions offer a value of $260, reflecting a significant discount.

Read here from some of our patients who have had real life success with stubborn allergies.

The purpose of NAET is to stop the allergic reaction by having the body no longer perceive the substance as a threat.

The way to most successfully accomplish this is by treating allergens one at a time each visit. Basic essential nutrients are treated first, to improve digestion and absorption of the food we consume on a daily basis. During the treatment, acupressure is used on the back to lightly stimulate the nervous system while in the presence of the allergen in the form of a homeopathic vial. This process is a way of reintroducing the body to a particular allergen and changing the body’s perception of the allergen as a threat. The substance must then be avoided for 25 hours to process the treatment. Typically only one treatment is needed per substance, however moderate to severe allergies may require multiple treatments.

NAET has been successfully performed on patients of all ages in our clinic, from infants to the elderly. Children will receive NAET alone, while adults will receive acupuncture subsequent to the NAET treatment. Combining acupuncture with NAET has demonstrated to be a more effective approach since specific immune-related acupuncture points are directly activated during treatment.

With 25 years of NAET experience and direct mentorship from NAET’s founder, Dr. Nikzad is highly respected in her field. In addition to NAET, she offers lab review, supplement and herbal guidance, nutritional counseling, and lifestyle coaching. She has extensive experience with allergies of various kinds and has supported patients with a wide range of health challenges.

Additionally, our patients benefit from receiving both NAET and acupuncture during each session, which helps amplify the effectiveness of NAET.

A new patient evaluation is essential even for returning patients, as it gives our doctor the chance to review foundational markers and assess any changes. We suggest bringing any history of prior treatments to streamline the process. With your familiarity with NAET, you’re well-positioned to maximize your time in the clinic.

Yes! We welcome patients from all over. Appointments can be conducted by phone or Zoom, and care typically includes lab work, supplements or herbal support, and follow-up appointments to monitor progress.

Having a support system helps in your wellness journey, so we recommend having them join you for two key appointments: the initial visit and your lab review, each lasting about an hour. We’ll work with your schedule to find times that suit both of you.

NAET works by gently stimulating the central nervous system while the body is exposed to a specific allergen, typically in a homeopathic vial. In our clinic, we complement NAET sessions with acupuncture to target relevant acupressure points and enhance the effects of NAET.

The number of sessions depends on factors like your unique health picture, the duration of any existing issues, and the body’s individual healing pace. Initial sessions are designed to strengthen the body’s response to key foods, nutrients, and vitamins.

The Basic 15 includes foundational treatments for essential nutrients and systems: BBF (Autonomic Nervous System Balance), Egg Mix, Calcium Mix, Vitamin C Mix, B Complex, Sugar Mix, Iron Mix, Vitamin A Mix, Minerals, Salt Mix, Grain Mix, Yeast Mix, Stomach Acid, Digestive Enzymes, and Hormones.

Your initial visit includes a comprehensive health review covering past symptoms, diagnoses, and more. Based on this, we may recommend specific lab testing to further understand your health and outline a personalized care approach.

We use a range of advanced tests, including blood, stool, urine, and saliva analysis. Labs are customized to your needs and the insights your practitioner is seeking. Common tests we use within our clinic include GI Map stool testing, DUTCH Hormone Testing, Genetic Testing, and Mold and Environmental Toxin Testing.

Most patients begin NAET treatments once or twice per week depending on the severity of their conditions. Patients who begin with twice a week sessions, decrease to once per week as they progress and begin seeing results. We’ll work with you to find a schedule that aligns with your health plan and availability.

Yes, Dr. Nikzad sees children as young as a few weeks old. Children are particularly receptive to care and often don’t need acupuncture with NAET. Our approach supports common childhood conditions like digestive issues, eczema, and behavioral challenges. As children grow, acupuncture can be included if they’re comfortable with it.

For children on the autism spectrum, our protocol has shown an average 50% improvement in symptoms, including behavioral and digestive aspects. Parents often see changes within the first 5-10 sessions, and studies on NAET’s effectiveness are available on the NAET website.
